Is it time for a major change?
What are family therapy intensives?
Family Therapy is great, but sometimes the once a week for an hour thing just isn’t what every family needs. If you and your loved ones are serious about improving your family, consider an intensive.
I work with:

Intensives are perfect for families needing a big nudge in the right direction. They are also a great option for busy families: No pressure to find a weekly time that works for everyone and no stress with getting everyone in the same place every week.
Your family is busy! Let’s make the therapy process a little easier.

How do family therapy intensives work?
A family EFT intensive is a specialized, immersive therapy experience based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) that focuses on strengthening emotional bonds, improving communication, and resolving conflicts within families.
Family intensives typically involve multiple hours of therapy over a day or a few days, providing families with an opportunity to make significant progress in a concentrated amount of time.
If your family is going through a particularly challenging time or if you’re looking to make substantial progress in a short period, a Family EFT Intensive can be a great option. It's designed to help families reconnect, resolve conflicts, and improve overall dynamics in a focused, intensive way.
How are family intensives different from therapy?

What to expect from a family intensive
I’ll conduct a detailed screening, at that time we’ll decide as a group who should be included in the intensive.
Initial screening

We’ll do a thorough assessment, with a special focus on understanding each family member’s perspective.
Assessment

We’ll spend several hours per day in therapy sessions. These longer, more immersive sessions make it easier to access, explore and share vulnerable emotions. EFT helps families recognize negative cycles of interaction (e.g., yelling, withdrawing, or criticizing) that often create emotional distance. I work with your family to break these patterns and develop healthier, more compassionate ways of responding to one another.
Therapy sessions

At the end of our intensive, I’ll connect you with after-care resources and provide you with a detailed summary of our time together.
